Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Skillix, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Skillix is an AI-powered learning application that enables users to:

• Import knowledge sources (text, PDFs, images).
• Generate quizzes, flashcards, and study sessions using artificial intelligence.
• Schedule daily learning sessions and track their progress.
• Participate in live competitive quiz sessions with other users.

The service requires an internet connection. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

To use Skillix, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing accurate registration information.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at support@skillix.tech.

You agree NOT to:

• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringing on third-party rights.
• Use the App to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code.
• Circumvent or abuse the subscription plan system.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Share your account credentials with others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Skillix ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant Skillix a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the learning features of the App.

You warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

We do not claim ownership of your User Content and will not use it for any purpose other than operating the App (including AI processing to generate learning materials).

Skillix offers three subscription tiers:

• Free — limited features, no payment required.
• Starter — $2.99/month, expanded features.
• Pro — $4.99/month, full feature access.

Paid subscriptions are processed via Google Play Billing. Prices are subject to change with advance notice. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

The Skillix name, logo, app design, and all underlying technology are owned by the Skillix team and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or trademarks without our express written permission.

AI-generated content (quizzes, flashcards, summaries) produced by the App is provided for your personal educational use only.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
• AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose.
• The App will meet your specific requirements.

AI-generated quizzes and flashcards are educational tools — always verify important information from authoritative sources.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skillix and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use or inability to use the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Skillix integrates with the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Privacy Policy
• OpenAI — AI content generation. Privacy Policy
• RevenueCat / Google Play — subscription and payment processing. Privacy Policy

We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services. Your use of them is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@skillix.tech. We will delete your data within 30 days of the request.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without prior notice.

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts competent for the Skillix team's place of business.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
